Structural mechanics

IBK posseses wide competences in the field of structural mechanics, coming from years of successful work in this area.
Among our capabilities are state-of-the-art static and dynamic stress and strain-analysis, including geometrical non-linearitites (like buckling) as well as physical non-linearities (like plasticity) for any given material class (metals, composites,...). Structural mechanics cover numerical, experimental as well as analytical descriptions of mechanical systems under arbitrary loads.
Based on our work IBK has experiences in damage mechanics and fatigue. Especially multi-disciplinary problems are solved with numerically coupled analyses (FSI, TMC, PFSI, TFSI) . Optimization analysis completes our competences and enables us to enhance product capabilities.
