History
- 1985: IBK established by Dr. Kretzschmar in Nuremberg
- 1992: First R&D-project funded by the EU
- 1998: Opening of the Hamburg Office
- 2000: J. V. Krier becomes head of IBK
- 2002: IBK Hamburg moves into the ATP and IBK Nürnberg into the Rehdorfer Straße
- 2005: IBK celebrates its 20th anniversary in a 600 year old barn in the Old Town of Nuremberg
- 2006: Foundation of IBK Aero GmbH & Co. KG and IBK Innovation GmbH & Co. KG
- 2007: The technical expert office Johann Krier (publicly appointed expert on fluid mechanics) has got a new homepage (www. ibk-svs.de)
